iPhone is it the Next Revolution

Squeezing the maximum utility out of a piece of technology has been many a scientist’s goal since the dawn of time. With the introduction of computers into our society this power lust has become more evident, to the extent that we can now use our telephones as a computer, web browser, word processor, camera and, thankfully, a telephone.
The huge computers of yesteryear have shrunk and fallen into our pockets. Take the iPhone apps as the perfect example. Apple have produced a piece of mobile technology that not only looks great and has top notch fashion appeal, but also that is an incredibly useful tool when on the road. While people may not consider the iPhone downloads with to be their ‘main’ computer this is likely not due to a lack of computing power but simply because of its size: typing on an iPhone is not the most productive of pastimes.
This union of incredible computing power and ultra-mobile equipment is MobiCom – Mobile Computing. It is the future and the future is now. Let the MobiCom revolution begin!
