Having software that does its job softly and unobtrusively is a dream come true for many people. Ares Ultra does just that.
Ares Ultra achieves what most other software should but cannot; by eliminating all the more complex operations and options from the immediate view of the user the interface is simplified considerably. A simplified interface means easer access to those functions that actually matter which, in the case of a filesharing program, mean that uploading, downloading and organizing your files is made refreshingly simple. These are the operations that matter and the makers of Ares Ultra know that’s what you want. Simple.
The potential failing of Ares Ultra emanates from this double edged sword of sublime simplicity: advanced users will struggle to be productive when attempting to access the more powerful features found in filesharing software. Whilst Ares Ultra does have all these functions they are not always easy to hand and finding them sometimes a struggle. A minor complaint for what is major software.
