Is Salvia Safe?

April 21st, 2008

Salvia – the hallucinogenic that remains legal in many States – is becoming increasingly popular. Not only is it widely available over the Internet, but is also claimed to be stronger than marijuana and less dangerous than either LSD or PCP, which provide similar effects. There has never been a death for which Salvia has been blamed (though it was said to be a factor in one teen’s suicide).

Salvia that can be used to feel the hallucinogenic effects can be purchased either as leaves or as a liquid extract. The extract is often flavored as the natural flavor of Salvia being rather unpleasant to some people. One recent purchaser claims, on the SalviaDragon.com website, “It might sound far fetched, but I experience immortality”. How’s that for a endorsement?

But the lawmakers are slowly coming to realize that Salvia is becoming the next ‘alternative’ and are quickly rushing through bills to prevent its sale, use and possession in many states. If you want to get it then now is the time to do so!
